Viewing patient information

After logging in to Dentrix Mobile, you can search for and view patient information from your mobile device.

To view patient information

1.   In the Home screen, tap Patients.

The display shows the Patients search screen.

2.   Tap the search field.

Your cursor is placed in the search field. If you are using an iPhone, the keyboard appears.

3.   Type at least two characters of the patient's name or patient's phone number.

Dentrix Mobile begins searching both first names and last names to find a match to the entered characters. As you continue typing characters, the search results narrow.

4.   Tap the patient's name.

The Details screen appears.

As you flick through the Patient Details, the available sections are:

·        Contact Info - Displays the patient's known contact information.

·        Prescriptions - Tap a prescription date to see details of the prescription. If there aren't any prescriptions, none is displayed under the header.

·        Medical Alerts - Displays a list of allergies and other medically important information. If there aren't any medical alerts, none is displayed under the header.

·        Future Appointments - Displays future appointments.

·        Past Appointments - If there aren't any past appointments, none is displayed under the header.

·        Missed Appointments - If you break an appointment in the Appointment Book, these appear after the WebSync runs.

Tip: Tap a phone number to call the patient or tap an email address to open the mail application for the device. The patient's email address is automatically entered in the To field.
