Using Dentrix Mobile, you can view appointments, patient and prescription information, and medical alerts right from your mobile device. Because Dentrix Mobile is Web based, no confidential patient information is ever permanently stored on your mobile device, so patient privacy is never at risk if your mobile device is lost or stolen. Dentrix Mobile is compatible with Blackberry (all models), iPhone, iPad, Motorola Xoom, and Android mobile devices and smartphones.
To access your Dentrix database using your mobile device, you will need to schedule the appointments in your practice management system and then perform a WebSync to send the data to eCentral. Once the data is uploaded to eCentral, you can access it from your mobile device.
Note: Dentrix Mobile is only available if you are using Dentrix G4 with Productivity Pack 7 or later and are on a current Dentrix Customer Service Plan. If you aren't on a current Dentrix Customer Service plan, an error message appears and you won't be able to log in.
After setting up Dentrix Mobile using the WebSync Wizard and logging in to Dentrix Mobile from your mobile device, you can use Dentrix Mobile to view patient information and view appointments. You can also add a shortcut to your iPhone's Home screen.
