Editing document information      

You can edit document information.

To edit document information

Note: If the document has been signed, you cannot edit the document information. You may still attach the document to more sources, but you cannot edit the reference date, document type, description, and note.

1.   In the Document Tree, select the document that you want to edit.

2.   Click Edit, and then click Document Information.

The Document Information dialog box appears.

3.   As necessary, make the following changes:

·        Reference Date – Type or select a new date.

·        Document Type – Select a new type from the list.

·        Description – Type a new document description.

·        Attachment Type for Claim – Select a new type from the list.

·        Note – Type or edit a note. You can cut, copy, or paste the note, insert a dateline, check spelling, and change the font to make note easier to read.

4.   To save your changes and return to the Document Center, click OK .
