You can control whether or not providers in your practice are public.
· Public means that provider can be individually reviewed, and can be individually requested in appointment requests.
· Leave a provider Private if you want your business, and not the specific provider, to receive appointment requests and reviews.
By default, all of your providers are private. Reviews will be attributed to the business, and appointments cannot be requested for specific providers. Note that once you make a provider public, Patient Engage is typically able to tie past reviews to that provider as well.
To manage your provider visibility
2. From the Dentrix Hub toolbar, click Settings.
3. Under Manage, click Providers.
The Provider Visibility table shows a list of your practice's providers and specialties. All providers default to Private initially.
Note: If the provider ID number (middle column) is incorrect, check your management system to make sure it's correct there.
4. For each provider in the list, click either Public or Private if you want to change the setting. Click Public to have them appear in appointment request and review options.
After you click the Public button, a message confirms the setting.
Notes:
· When making providers public, set the online scheduling option for your Business Profile Page to Clients can request times that work for them. (Your website widgets and Facebook apps will be set the same way as your Business Profile Page.)
· Patients can request a specific provider at your business, or specify "no preference."
· Patients can also review specific providers or review your business overall.
· When a provider has been made publicly reviewable, clients receiving a Thank You email from their visit to your business will see the provider's name selected by default on the review form.
