Managing profile, settings, and more

Using Patient Engage Mobile, you can manage your profile and settings. You are also able to send secure messaging and email messages to patients.

To manage profile, settings, and more

1.   Log in to Patient Engage Mobile.

2.   Tap the More icon at the bottom of your screen.

3.   You can do any of the following:

·        Manage your profile and settings

·        Send a secure message to patients

·        Send an email message to patients

 

Profile and Settings

From your global profile and settings, you will be able to manage your notifications, assign a color code to providers, enable security settings and log out from the app.

To access your settings

1.   Log in to the app.

2.   Tap the more icon at the bottom right of your screen.

3.   Tap Profile & Settings.

4.   You will see your user information at the top of your screen followed by your app settings.

Notifications

To snooze notifications

1.   Scroll down to Notifications.

2.   Tap Snooze Notifications.

3.   Select the amount of time you want to pause all your notifications, or tap Off to disable all notifications.

 

To select the type of notifications you want to receive

1.   Scroll to Notifications.

2.   Tap on Push Notifications.

3.   Switch the toggle button to turn notifications on or off.

 

Color Settings

You can color code all your providers from your settings menu.

To change the color settings

1.   Scroll down to Color Settings.

2.   Tap the provider you want to change or assign a color to.

3.   Tap on the color your want to assign to your provider.

4.   Once you have selected the color, go back and the changes will be saved.

Note: By selecting No Color, you will clear any colors previously selected.

Security

This setting will allow you to enable or disable Face and Touch ID.

To turn Face and Touch ID on or off

1.   Scroll down to Security.

2.   Move the switch to turn Face and Touch ID on or off.

Note: If you are logged out of the app, you will no longer receive any type of notifications.

Secure Messaging

Secure Messaging allows you to send and receive direct, secure communication with patients directly from your mobile device.

To send or view secure message

1.   Tap More at the bottom right of your screen.

2.   Tap Secure Messaging.

3.   Select the name of the provider from the providers icon at the top right of your screen to filter the inbox by provider.

4.   Access messages in your Inbox, Drafts, Sent, and Trash folders.  

5.   Tap the icon to create and send a message to a patient.

6.   Select the patient you want to message by typing their name in the To box; the results matching your search will appear.

7.   Add an attachment by tapping on the attachment icon.

8. You can add an attachment from your Secure Gallery or upload one from your device by tapping on the Add Media From Device button.

9.  Tap the send icon image once your message is ready.

Note: You can also reply and delete messages by swiping left. You can also mark messages as read or unread by swiping right.

Contact Patients

You can create and send one-off email messages.

To send a one-off email

1.  Tap Contact Patients.

2.   Tap More at the bottom right of your screen.

3.   Tap Contact Patients.

4.   Select your recipient or recipients by tapping Recipients.

5.   Select if you would like to send your message by Manual Selection or Appointment Date Range.

Notes:

·        The Appointment Date Range allows you to build a group of recipients based on which day their appointments are scheduled.

·        Manual Selection allows you to build a hand-selected list of recipients by choosing them one by one from a list.

·        You can search for specific patients by typing their name in the search box.

·        Choosing by Appointment Date Range prompts you to select a start and end date. All patients with scheduled appointments within that range will receive your message.

6.   Tap Save to save your changes.

7.   Type your message or use one of your saved templates.

8.   Tap the send icon to send out your message.

Note: You will not be able to save a list of patients to email; you must customize, create, and edit your recipient list each time that you initiate a one-off message.
