Patient Engage can simplify the appointment management process by automatically sending email, text, and/or phone confirmation requests to patients with upcoming appointments.
To manage appointment confirmations
2. In the main navigation pane on the left, click Dashboard.
3. Under Weekly Appointments, click the "# total appts" for the day you’d like to manage.
4. Enter all patients with an Appt Status of Confirmed in your practice management system. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and include those listed in the Offline Confirmations section as well.
5. Contact patients with an Appt Status of Unconfirmed to confirm their appointment. Update their status in your practice management system.
Tips:
· You can resend the confirmation communication by clicking the icon to the left of their name, then clicking the Resend link on the right.
· To see
the communication history for all messages (including messages that have
sent, did not send, will send, and will not send), click the image icon next to the
appointment you want to view, and then hover over a reminder that was
not sent or will not send to see a brief explanation as to why.
