To use Patient Engage Live, you must be running one of the following 64-bit operating systems:
· Windows version 8 or later
· Mac version O Sierra (10.12.3) or later
· A 64-bit processor
To download the Patient Engage Live setup file
1. In the top-right corner of the Patient Engage portal, click Settings.
2. Under Connect in the left sidebar, click Patient Engage Live.
3. Click Download next to the appropriate operating system (Windows or Mac), and follow the prompt.
4. (For Windows Users) Click the download file in the bottom left corner of the browser window.
Note: You may see the message: "Windows protected your PC.” The file is safe to download. Click More info, and then click Run Anyway to continue to the installation wizard.
After downloading the Patient Engage Live setup file from the portal, a setup window appears on your desktop. (If the setup window does not automatically appear, click the download file in the bottom left corner.)
To install Patient Engage Live
1. At the Choose Installation Options screen, select whether you want to install the Patient Engage Live for Anyone who uses this computer (all users) or for only your user account, and then click Next.
2. At the Choose Install Location screen, do one of the following:
· Click the Browse button to select a new installation location, and then click Install.
· Click Install to accept the default Destination Folder.
The setup window continues the installation process to completion.
3. When the installation is complete, select Run Patient Engage Live, and then click Finish.
Note: Refer to Starting Patient Engage Live and Configuring Patient Engage Live below for information about setting up Patient Engage Live the first time that you open it.
The Patient Engage Live installer automatically puts an icon on your desktop, which you can click to open the program.
To start Patient Engage Live
1. Double-click the Patient Engage Live icon on your desktop.
2. Enter your Email address and Password.
3. Click Sign In.
The first time you open Patient Engage Live, a Welcome screen invites you to configure your auto-login and application notification settings.
To configure the Patient Engage Live settings
1. Set Launch to On to have Patient Engage Live automatically start each time the computer turns on.
2. Set Desktop Notifications to On, and then select which notification types you want to receive:
· Confirmed Appointments
· Appointment Requests
· Two Way Texts
3. Click Let’s Get Started to launch the application.
Note: The configuration window appears only the first time you log in. You can adjust settings later by clicking the Settings icon in the Patient Engage Live App.
You can uninstall Patient Engage Live as needed.
To uninstall Patient Engage Live on a Windows computer
1. In the Windows search bar at the bottom of your desktop screen, type "Control Panel," and then, click Open.
2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
3. In the list of applications, double-click Patient Engage Live.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Finish.
You can uninstall Patient Engage Live as needed.
To uninstall Patient Engage Live on a Mac computer
1. Click the spotlight button in the top-right of your desktop, and type “Applications” to search for applications.
2. Double-click Applications in the results.
3. Find Patient Engage Live in the list of applications.
4. Drag Patient Engage Live from the Applications window to the trash bin at the bottom of your desktop.
Note: You can also double-click Patient Engage Live in the Applications window to view the options for the program, and then click Move to Trash.
5. Click the trash bin icon .
6. Click Empty Trash in the top-right of the window that opens.
