In the Weekly Appointments area of the Dashboard, here’s what you see:
· Unconfirmed appointments for the next few days
· The number of unconfirmed appointments, in the yellow bubble next to Weekly Appointments
· A short status message detailing the last communication sent
· Which customers have opted out of communications (Offline appears next to their names)
· Contact options, including showing the customer's phone numbers (mobile, office, or home)
To view and manage the weekly appointments on the Dashboard
2. In the main navigation pane on the left, click General.
3. Under General, click Dashboard.
4. Scroll down to Weekly Appointments.
5. Do any of the following:
· Click Contact next to the appointment and send an email confirmation to your patient.
· Click Contact next to the appointment and send a one-off message to your patient.
· Click Contact next to the appointment and add an appointment note about which actions have been taken so far.
Note: Adding a note to the appointment is for internal use only; the note is not sent to your patient.
· Click Confirm to confirm the appointment in Patient Engage.
When you confirm an appointment in Patient Engage and haven't yet confirmed it in your practice management system, the appointment will appear in a "Newly Confirmed" section.
To confirm these appointments
1. Confirm the appointment in your practice management system.
2. Find the newly confirmed appointment in Patient Engage and click Done.
(This clears the appointment from the list.)
