Assigning a primary contact

With the two-way text messaging feature, you can assign a primary contact name to a phone number where multiple patients (such as a family) share that same phone number.

To assign a primary contact

1.   Log in to Patient Engage.

2.   In the top-right corner, click the icon.

3.   Click the text message conversation that you want to assign a primary contact for.

4.   Click the family contact icon to the right of the patient's name.

5.   Select the household member whom you want to designate as the primary contact for that phone number.6

6.   Click the Back button to return to the main tab of two-way text messaging.
