Fee schedule preferences
There are preferences for fee schedules that you can change.
To set up the fee schedule preferences
1. From the Utilities menu, click Preferences.
The Preferences dialog box appears.
2. On the Operation tab, set up the following options:
· Under Security, in the Allow editing of fees on fee table box, enter the minimum security level required to enable the Turn On Edit Mode button at the bottom of the Fee Schedule window.
Note: This preference does not set security for the Edit or Batch Edit buttons.
· Under Fee Schedules, select the categories you want to have show when posting charges and treatment plans: Diagnostic, Prosthetic, OMS, Emergency, Office and/or All Categories.
Note: This setting also affects which procedure categories are displayed on the Estimates - Percents tab of the Edit Insurance Profiles dialog box.
· Under Fee Schedules, select the Sort Fee Schedules by Insurance Code check box to sort the fee schedule table by the Insurance Code by default. With this check box cleared, the fee schedules are sorted by the Code by default.
3. Click Ok.
