Excluding users from locations

You can set up a location so that, when an excluded user tries to access a practice location from which that user has been excluded, a message appears and tells the user to log on to a different location.

To exclude users for a practice location

1.   Open the Edit Practice Location dialog box.

2.   Click Users.

The Exclude Users (Log-on codes) dialog box appears.

3.   If a certain preference setting is enabled, when adding a new location, all users are excluded. But, if you are editing a location and do not want a certain user to be allowed to log on to the location anymore, select that user in the Users to Include list box.

4.   Click Add to move the user to the Users Excluded list box.

Note: To move an excluded user back to the Users to Include list box, select that user in the Users Excluded list box, and then click Remove.

5.   Repeat steps 3 - 4 to exclude any other users from the practice location.

6.   Click OK.
