Editing inactive patient reasons

When the Inactive Patient Reason option in Preferences is enabled, you can edit reasons why a patient is inactive. You can also select which inactive patient reasons to include in the Inactive Patient Report.

To add or edit a patient type

1.   From the File menu, point to Codes and Lists > Patient Documentation, and then click Inactive Patient Reasons.

The Inactive Reasons Table dialog box appears.

2.   Click Edit.

3.   Change the Reason and/or Description fields as needed.

       Note: You can’t add or delete reasons.

4.   Click OK.
