Preferences for printing medical prescriptions

There are preference settings for printing prescriptions.

To enable side-by-side printing of prescriptions

1.   From the Utilities menu, click Preferences.

The Preferences dialog box appears.

2.   On the Print Defaults tab, set up the following options:

·        Print NPI number on RX? - Select this check box to include the prescribing provider's NPI number on prescriptions.

·        Print side by side on prescriptions? - Select this check box to allow more than one prescription per page when you print multiple prescriptions at once, so prescriptions are printed from top left, to top right, to bottom left, and then to bottom right. With this check box cleared, prescriptions are printed from top left, to bottom left, to top right, and then to bottom right.

·        Do not print RX older than today? - Select this check box not to allow prescriptions to be printed any day after they are prescribed.

3.   Click Ok.
