Medical history update preference

A preference setting controls the interval at which you will be notified that the medical histories for patients need to be updated. A preference controls when the Med Hx. Update box on the General tab of the Patient Information Center will turn yellow and blink and causes an alert to appear.

To set up this preference

1.   From the Utilities menu, click Preferences.

The Preferences dialog box appears.

2.   On the Operation tab, under General Operations, in the Update Med. Hx. every box, enter the number of months for the interval.

3.   Click Ok.
