Experience-based sort preference

You can set up the preference for experience-based sorting of fee schedule procedures and narratives to attach when you are posting charges or treatment plans.

To set up the preference

1.   From the Utilities menu, click Preferences.

The Preferences dialog box appears.

2.   On the Operation tab, under Billing, select the Use experience-based sort for fees and narratives check box to have the most frequently used procedure codes and narratives appear at the top of the lists when you are posting charges or treatment plans . If you clear this check box, codes appear in numerical order, and narratives appear in alphabetical order.

3.   Click Ok.
