Customizing the Previous Procedure Index

You can customize the procedure codes that appear on the Routing Slip for the six procedure categories by adding to or deleting the default procedure codes defined for this section:

·        Exam – The more recent of the codes 0120 or 0150 is listed along with the date of the procedure.

·        Full Mouth Series – The code 2010 and date of the procedure are listed.

·        Illusion – The more recent of the codes 155 or 145 is listed along with the date of the procedure.

·        Panoramic – The code 0330 and date of the procedure are listed.

·        Fluoride – The more recent of the codes 1203 or 1204 is listed along with the date of the procedure.

·        Prophy – The more recent of the codes 1110, 1120, or 4910 is listed along with the date of the procedure.

To customize the previous procedure index

1.   In the Appointment Book, from the printer button menu, point to Routing Slips, and then click Previous Procedure Index.

The Previous Procedure Index dialog box appears and displays the default codes assigned to each of the six procedure categories.

2.   Edit the codes as follows:

·        To add a code for the category, double-click in the first available text field, under Code select the code you want to add, and then click Paste.

·        To delete a code for the category, click the delete button next to the code you want to delete, and then click Yes.

4.   Click OK.
