Adding and editing implant orders

You can create and edit implant orders to indicate that more of a certain item needs to be re-ordered. Ordered items are recorded in the Implant Orders table.

To add or edit implant orders

1.   Do one of the following:

·        From the File menu, point to Implants > Implant Inventory, and then click On Order. The Implant Orders Table window appears.

·        In the Implant Center, on the Inventory tab, click the On Order tab.

2.   Do one of the following:

·        To add an order, click Add.

·        To edit an existing order, select an order, and then click Edit.

The Edit Implant Order dialog box appears.

3.   Select the Item that you want to order. The Vendor and Location for the selected item are displayed.

4.   Enter the Quantity that you want to order. The date and time when the quantity is or was set are displayed as the Transaction Date for your reference. Also, you can type an order Confirmation in the field.

5.   From the Shipper list, select the delivery company, and then type a Tracking Number (if applicable).

6.   If you are cancelling an order that was previously placed, from the Cancel list, select the appropriate reason that the order is being cancelled. The date when a reason was selected is displayed as the Cancelled Date for your reference.

7.   Type any Comments regarding the order.

8.   Click OK.
