Adding and editing implant manufacturers

You can keep a record of manufacturers of implants that you use. You can add and edit the implant manufacturers as needed.

To add or edit a manufacturer

1.   Do one of the following:

·        From the File menu, point to Implants > Implant Tracking, and then click Manufacturers. The Implant Manufacturers Table window appears.

·        In the Implant Center, on the Setup tab, click the Manufacturers tab.

2.   Do one of the following;

·        To add an implant manufacturer, click Add.

·        To edit an existing implant manufacturer, select an implant manufacturer, and then click Edit.

The Edit Implant Manufacturer dialog box appears.

3.   Set up the following options:

·        Name - Type the name of the implant manufacturer. The name can be up to 30 characters long.

·        Address - Enter the street address, city, state, and ZIP Code of the implant manufacturer in the appropriate fields. Each address field has a maximum length of 50 characters.

Note: If you double click in the ZIP Code field, you can select a ZIP Code from the Zip Code Table window to paste into the ZIP Code field.

·        Phones - Type the fax and phone numbers of the implant manufacturer in the appropriate fields.

·        Comments - Type any comments about the implant manufacturer.

·        Contact - Type the contact name, email address, and website address of the implant manufacturer in the appropriate fields. The maximum lengths for the name, email, and Web address are 35, 60, and 100, respectively.

Note: You can click the Send E-mail link next to the Email field to send an email message to the specified recipient, or click the Browse link next to the Web field to open a web browser to the specified site.

4.   Select Add to Vendor List to add the implant manufacturer to the vendor list (if the manufacturer also sells items).

5.   Click OK.
