Creating EHR narrative templates

To add an EHR narrative template

1.   In the EHR Narratives window, do one of the following:

·        To add a new narrative template, click Add .

·        To edit an existing narrative template, select a narrative template, and then click Edit .

The EHR Narrative Edit window appears.

2.   Enter or change the narrative as needed.

3.   From the File menu, click Save as Template.

The Edit Narrative Template Description dialog box appears.

4.   Set up the following options:

·        Name - Type the name for the template. This field has a limit of 100 characters.

·        Category - Select a category.

·        Description - Type the description for the template.

·        Attachment - You can link an envelope or letter to an EHR narrative template. Select what you want to attach to the template: Label, Envelope, or Neither. The Neither option is selected by default.

5.   Click OK.
