Setting up automatic navigation

With ClinicalVision, you can automate tooth navigation by setting up the auto-advance feature. You can set up the auto-advance feature for all exams, and you can set up the auto-advance feature for a single exam.

To configure auto-advance feature for an exam

1.   From the periodontal chart, on the Task pane, click Add to view the perio exam tools.

2.   Under Auto-Advance, make sure Enabled (left button) is highlighted to have ClinicalVision automatically move to the next data entry site when you are charting values in an exam.

3.   Click the Direction button (middle button) to change the direction of the auto-advance script: <<, for right to left; >>, for left to right.

4.   Set up the sequence:

a.   Click the Exam Sequence button (right button).

The Periodontal Exam Sequence dialog box appears.

b.   The Current Sequence, if one exists, is displayed, but you can change it. Click Reset to populate the list box with the possible sequences.

c.   Click each sequence in the desired order.

d.   Click OK.
