Sending AutoReminders
You can send AutoReminders to many patients all at the same time. Only patients with appointments that have a status of "Unconfirmed" or "No Answer" and that meet the selected criteria will be sent a reminder.
To send reminders
1. In the Appointment Book, from the Tools button menu, point to AutoRemind, and then click Send AutoReminders.
The Send AutoReminders dialog box appears.
2. You can filter the AutoReminders as needed:
· By a date range - Under Date Range of Appointments, enter the desired Start and End dates in a mm/dd/yyyy format.
· By providers - Under Providers, select ALL for all providers. To choose only a certain providers, clear ALL, and then select the desired providers listed.
· By columns - Under Columns, select ALL for all columns. To choose only a certain columns, clear ALL, and then select the desired columns listed.
3. Click OK.
During the sending process, a progress indicator appears. Afterwards, a preview of the log appears.
The appointment status in the column to the left of the appointment changes to a light blue color after an AutoReminder is sent to the patient attached to that appointment.
