Reviewing and clearing flags
When an employee clocks in too early, clocks out too late, or clocks in too soon after clocking out, a flag is attached to that time clock entry. An administrator can review these alerts and clear them.
To clear a flag
From the File menu, click Time Clock.
The Time Clock window appears.
Click Administrator Console.
The Time Clock Administrator Console window appears.
To see only the flagged entries, which require administrative attention, under Flags, select the Show items with open flags only check box.
Select an entry.
Click Edit.
The Edit Time Clock Record dialog box appears.
Click the red flag button.
The TimeClock Flags dialog box appears and displays the flags for this time clock entry.
Select a flag.
The details appear under Detail on Highlighted Flag.
Type any Supervisor Notes.
Tip: To insert the date and time, click the Insert Date/Time link. To insert your user name, click the Insert User Name link.
Click Clear Flag.
Repeat steps 7-9 for any other flags you want to clear.
