Opening the program for the first time

There are a few steps you should follow when opening OMSVision for the first time.

To open OMSVision

Double-click the program icon on the Windows desktop.

The first time you open OMSVision after installing, the Integration Passphrase dialog box appears.

Type 4-8 characters in each of the three parts to be used as a unique initial passphrase if/when OMSVision connects with third-party software or hardware. (You don’t need to write down or remember this passphrase; you likely won’t see or use it again.)

The Logon dialog box appears.

At this point, you have not created a user name or password, so leave those fields blank, and then click OK to connect to the database.

A message appears as the database is updated and prepared for use.

Wait until the tasks have been completed, and the message disappears. Then, a dialog box appears and informs you that the program is running in a demonstration mode, with a limited number of logons.

Note: You can contact the Support department to have a representative get the program out of demonstration mode and activate any add-on features that you have purchased.

Click OK.
