Before installing
Before you can install the i-CAT interface, you must complete the following steps:
1. You must purchase the i-CAT integration add-on to use this feature. Call (800) 323-3370, option 1 to purchase and enable the i-CAT Bridge option in the System Setup.
2. If you require assistance installing the i-CAT interface software, please call the Support department at (800) 323-3370, option 2, to schedule a time with a support representative to perform the installation.
3. The i-CAT interface requires that EndoVision10.0.13 or newer be installed on the computer. Open the software and verify that the version number on the title bar meets the minimum version requirement.
4. Log all users off EndoVision and exit the program on all computers.
5. On the server, back up the entire dvwin folder (which includes the database file, dv.db). It is very important you verify that you have backed up dv.db.
Note: To back up your EndoVision database, the database engine must be stopped.
