Quick Answers
Quick Answers provides detailed information and links to answers for questions asked by your patients. You can open Quick Answers from the Patient Control Panel, which is on every tab in the Patient Information Center.
To use Quick Answers
1. In a patient’s Patient Information Center, on the Control Panel, under Transactions, click Quick Answers.
The Quick Answers! window appears.
2. The commonly asked questions are listed in the left pane. Click the desired link from the list to view the answer in the right pane:
· Did you submit my insurance? - Click this link to view the patient's insurance carriers, the posted date and submitted dates, and the number of claims. You can click any of the insurance carrier name links to view detailed information about the insurance profile and the patient's coverage, and you can click Edit to edit the insurance profile. You can also click any of the posted date links to view the corresponding Ledger information and any of the claim number links to view detailed information about the claim submissions for the procedure.
· Did my insurance company approve my treatment estimate? - Click this link to view the patient's pre-treatment estimates. You can click any of the created date links to view details about the pre-treatment estimate, any of the code number links to view procedure code information from the fee schedule, and any of the submitted date links to view estimate submissions for the procedure.
· Did you get my payment? - Click this link to view the patient's personal payments in reverse-chronological order and patient, insurance, and current account balances. You can click any of the posting date links to view the corresponding payment details.
· Did you get my insurance payment? - Click this link to view the patient's insurance company's payments in reverse-chronological order. You can click any of the posting date links to view the corresponding payment details.
· When is my next appointment? - Click this link to view the patient's future appointments in reverse-chronological order. You can click any of the appointment date links to open to that appointment in the Appointment Book.
· What is my balance? - Click this link to view the patient's, insurance, and account balances, and the date of the patient's last payment. You can click the account balance amount link to view all the procedures with an open balance.
· What are my remaining benefits? - Click this link to view the patient's insurance carriers. You can click any of the insurance carrier links to view detailed information about the insurance profile and the patient's remaining benefits, and you can click Edit to edit the insurance profile.
