Adding and editing implant items for a location

You can add and edit the list of implant items that are kept in your inventory at any given location. If an item is used in more than one location, that item will need to be added again to the list and assigned those other locations.

To add or edit an item for a location

1.   Do one of the following:

·        From the File menu, point to Implants > Implant Inventory, and then click Items for Location. The Implant Items for Location Table window appears.

·        In the Implant Center, on the Inventory tab, click the Items for Location tab. The Items for Location tab is selected by default.

2.   Do one of the following:

·        To add an implant item for a location, click Add.

·        To edit an existing implant item for a location, select an item, and then click Edit.

The Edit Implant Item for Location dialog box appears.

3.   Set up the following options:

·        Item - Select the appropriate implant item. For your reference, the Vendor associated with the item is displayed.

·        Location - Select the location where the item is kept in inventory.

·        Min On-hand - Enter the minimum number of this item you want to keep on-hand at the selected location. For your reference, the current Total On-hand number of the item is displayed and gets updated automatically as the item is removed from inventory according to the relevant implant procedures that are performed.

·        Comments - Type any comments regarding the implant item for the location.

4.   Click OK.
