Deleting EHR case types
You can delete an EHR case type that is not already in use in a case. If you try to delete a case type that is in use, the program provides you with the option to inactivate the case type instead.
To delete a case type
1. From the File menu, point to Codes and Lists > EHR Templates, and then click Case Types.
The Case Type Table window appears.
2. Select a case type. You cannot delete case types that are already in use.
3. Click Delete.
A confirmation message appears.
4. Click Yes.
Note: If you are trying to delete a case type that is in use, a message appears and asks if you want to inactivate the case type instead.
