Setting up reminders
You can set up the AutoRemind and TeleVox features in the Preferences dialog box.
To set up the reminder preferences
1. From the Utilities menu, click Preferences.
The Preferences dialog box appears.
2. On the Appointment Reminders tab, set up the following:
· TeleVox - Click Locate Program to browse for and select the TeleVox program (this must already be installed). Click Clear Program settings to clear any previous selection.
· Add Mobile/Cell to Televox File for SMS - When this option is selected, the patient's mobile/cell phone number will also be exported to Televox to be used in SMS text message reminders.
· AutoRemind - Select the AutoRemind check box to activate this feature. Type the appropriate URL, Port, User Name, and Password. Then, click Verify User to verify that the AutoRemind feature is set up correctly.
3. Click Ok.
Note: You will also need to select the phone number you want to use for confirmations, create the file using that phone number, and then contact Televox to have them turn it on.
