Printing the Schedule view

If the Schedule is not available in all of your operatories, you can set up, save, and print daily or weekly views of the Schedule. You can exclude the hours or days your practice is not open from being displayed or printed, select a view from multiple default views, and select a default view that loads automatically.

To print the Schedule view

1.   In the Schedule toolbar, click the Print button, and then click Print Schedule View.

The Print Schedule View dialog box appears.

Note: The providers, operatories, appointment display info, and time view default to the view currently selected for Schedule.  

2.   Do the following:

·        Provider(s) – Select the providers that you want to include from the list.

When you select a provider, the Schedule's Easy Provider Tracking Column displays the corresponding color for the provider.

Note: Appointments scheduled in a selected operatory always print, regardless of the provider assigned to the appointment.

·        Operatories – Select the operatories that you want to include from the list.

A limit of 10 operatories print out on the Schedule View.

·        Date – Select the date that you want to print from the list.

·        Appointment Display Info – Select the information that you want to display for each patient.

·        [none] – To display no information on the line.

·        Name – To display the patient's name. Typically, this is Line 1.

·        Appt Reason – To display the reason for the appointment.

·        Phone – To display the patient's home phone number.

·        Provider – To display the provider ID.

·        Work Phone – To display the patient's work phone number.

·        Pref. Name – To display the patient's preferred name.

·        Chart Number – To display the patient's chart number.

Note: Put the eight lines of information in priority order because shorter appointments only show the first few lines.

·        Print Appt Colors – Select if you are printing the view on a color printer.

·        Print Schedule Note – Select to include the Schedule note for the day.

·        Print Time at Right – Select to print the time bar on the right and left sides of the view.

·        Exclude Closed Hours – Select to exclude the hours that your practice is closed from the printed view.

·        Time View – Set the time range that you want to print.

·        Report Type – Select the type of report that you want to print.

3.   To print more than one copy of the Schedule view, do the following:

·        Select Display Print Window.

·        Click Print.

·        Select the number of copies that you want to print, and then click OK.

4.   To keep the Print Schedule View dialog box open, select Do Not Close When Print/Batch.

5.   Click one of the following:

·        Print – To print the view immediately.

·        Batch – To send the view to the Batch Processor to be printed at a later time.

6.   To save your modifications to the view, click Save Options.

The Save Options dialog box appears.

7.   To change the view name, type a name under New Option Name, and then click OK.

8.   To rename or delete the view, click Manage Options.

The Manage Saved Options dialog box appears.

9.   Select the view that you want to rename or delete from the Options List, click the appropriate button, and then click Close.
