Creating patient notes reports
You can use the Patient Notes Report to print all notes assigned to a patient including appointment notes, account notes, patient alert notes, and so on.
To create a patient notes report
1. In the Reports toolbar, click the Patient Lists button, and then click Patient Notes Report.
The Patient Notes Report dialog box appears.
2. If necessary, change the report date.
Note: The default is the current date.
3. Do the following:
· Select Patient – Select the range of patients to print. Click the From search button to select the starting patient and the To search button to select the ending patient for the range. Or, leave <ALL> selected in both fields to include all patients.
· Select Provider – Select the range of providers to print. Click the From search button to select the starting provider and the To search button to select the ending provider for the range. Or, leave <ALL> selected in both fields to include all providers.
· Select Billing Type – Select the range of billing types to print. Click the From search button to select the starting billing type and the To search button to select the ending billing type for the range. Or, leave <ALL> selected in both fields to include all billing types.
4. Under Note Types, select the types of notes that you want to include on the report.
· Appointment Notes - Notes attached to scheduled appointments. Type a date range to filter the report.
· Clinical Notes - All clinical notes. Type a date range to filter the report.
· Patient Alerts - All notes attached to patient alerts. Type a date range to filter the report.
· Perio Exam Notes - All notes taken during a periodontal exam. Type a date range to filter the report.
· Patient Note - All notes entered in the Patient Note field in the Patients module.
· Medical Alerts - All medical alerts for the patient.
· Recall Notes - All recall notes added in the Recall Information dialog box.
· Insurance Claim Notes - All notes entered for insurance claims.
· Insurance Plan Notes - All notes attached to the insurance carriers.
· Future Due Pmt Plan - All notes attached to future due payment plans.
· Account Note - All account notes entered in the Accounts module.
· Account Statement Note - All account statement notes entered in the Accounts module.
· Lab Case Note - All notes pertaining to a lab case.
5. To send the report to the Batch Processor, click OK.
