Creating batch insurance claims

Many offices choose to create all of their insurance claims simultaneously instead of one patient at a time throughout the day. With Easy Dental, you can create all primary insurance claims for procedures posted within a selected date range except for any procedure codes and insurance companies that you flagged “Do Not Bill to Insurance.” To learn more about flagging procedures codes and insurance companies, click the following links:

To create a batch insurance claim

1.   In the Reports toolbar, click Create Insurance Claims.

The Create Batch Primary Insurance Claims dialog box appears.

 

2.   Type a date range for the procedures that you want to create claims for.

A list of all procedures within the selected date range is generated.

3.   To include procedures with 0 dollar amounts, select Include Procedures with 0.00 Amounts.

4.   To generate the claims, click OK.

The Batch Insurance Claims Completed dialog box appears listing the number of claims.

5.   To send the claims to the Batch Processor, click OK again.
