Taking patient pictures using a webcam

You can take a patient pictures using a webcam.

Important: You must set up your webcam in Microsoft Windows before you can use it with Patient Picture.

To take a patient's picture using a webcam

1.   Using Quick Search or Advanced Search, select the patient whose picture you want to take.

2.   In the Patient Banner, click the Edit Photo icon.

The Photo Viewer dialog box appears.

3.   Click the Take Photo icon.

Your webcam's program opens.

4.   Follow your webcam's procedures for taking a picture.
