Acquiring patient pictures from file

If you have patient image files stored on your computer, you can import those files into Patient Picture and save them.

To acquire a patient picture from file

1.   Using Quick Search or Advanced Search, select the patient whose picture you want to acquire.

2.   In the Patient Banner, click the Edit Photo icon.

The Photo Viewer dialog box appears.

3.   Click the From File icon.

The Open window appears.

 

4.   Navigate to the folder containing the picture you want to acquire and then click the picture.

5.   Click Open.

The Photo Editor dialog box appears.

6.   Drag the blue dot to re-size the photo, and then click Update photo.

The patient's picture appears in the Patient Banner.
