Installing Easy Dental server software updates

The Check for Updates feature automatically searches for the latest updates when you open Easy Dental. You can then install those updates according to what date and time best suits your practice through the Update Manager.

You have access to all critical updates regardless of Easy Dental Service Bundle status; however, you can only download and install non-critical updates if your Easy Dental Service Bundle is active.

To install an Easy Dental server software update

1.   In the Patient Banner, click the Help button, and then click Check for Updates.

The Update Manager window appears listing any available updates.

2.   To install the update, click the server software update entry and the Down arrow.

3.   In the sub-menu, click Install.

If you have enabled passwords, the Password - Utility Administration dialog box appears.

4.   Type the administrator's User ID and Password, and then click OK.

The server software update is downloaded and installed.
