Performing referral upload overrides

Selecting Referral Upload Override allows you to select certain criteria for uploading referral information.

To perform a referral upload override

1.   From the EasyWeb toolbar, click Upload, and then click Referral Upload Override.

The Referral Upload Override dialog box appears.

 

2.   Do the following:

·        Select Referred TO – Click the From and To search buttons to establish a range of referred to doctors.

·        Include All Patient Referrals – Type a date range of referrals. Select Skip Referrals Already Uploaded if you do not want to upload referrals that have already been uploaded in the past.

·        Patient Information – To change the default setting, clear the following options:

·        Include Medical Alerts –

·        Include Dental Insurance –

·        Referral Note – Type a note for the referred to doctor to include with the upload. If you want, select Include Referral Note in e-mail.

Important: E-mail is not secure. Sensitive information should not be included in the referral note.

·        Procedure Information – Select or clear one or more of the following options:

·        Include Completed –

·        Include Treatment Plan –

·        Include Procedure Notes –

·        Referring Provider – Select one of the following options:

·        Use Patient's Prov 1 – Uploads the referred patient’s primary provider listed in the Patients module

·        Use Provider – Uploads a selected provider.

3.   Click Upload to begin the upload process.

The EasyWeb Upload List dialog box appears.

Note: All patients matching the criteria selected and having a web consent date will be listed on the EasyWeb Upload List.

4.   To remove any patients from the EasyWeb Upload List, select the patients that you want to remove, and then click Remove Patient(s) from Upload List.

5.   Click Upload in the EasyWeb Upload List dialog box to upload the listed referral information.

Note: A Web Referral Office Journal Entry will automatically be recorded for each referred patient, the referring provider, and the referred to provider.
