Setting and clearing dental pre-estimates

You can assign dental pre-estimates to procedures in Estimator. An estimate code appears in the Pre-Est column of the Estimator window when you assign a pre-estimate.

To set and clear a dental pre-estimate

1.   Select a patient.

2.   In the Chart toolbar, click Estimator.

The Estimator window appears.

3.   Select the procedure or procedures that require an estimate.

4.   In the Estimator toolbar, click Dental Pre-Estimates, and then select one of the following:

·        Needed – To add a pre-estimate.

·        Clear – To clear existing pre-estimates.
