Printing from the Estimator

From the Estimator, you can print a treatment plan report detailing the patient’s personal information, treatment plan (including order number, procedure, tooth number, fee, patient portion, and insurance portion), total charges, insurance benefit summary, and notes.

To print from the Estimator

1.   Select a patient.

2.   In the Chart toolbar, click Estimator.

The Estimator window appears.

3.   In the Estimator toolbar, click Print.

The Print dialog box appears.

 

4.   Select a printer from the Printer list.

5.   Under Treatment Plan Note, type any necessary notes.

Any default notes will already appear in the text box.

6.   Under Options, select any or all of Estimator's print options:

·        Sub Totals by Order – Inserts a sub total between order groups.

·        Insurance Benefits – Prints a summary of the patient’s insurance benefits at the bottom of the treatment plan.

·        Treatment Plan Note – Prints any notes in the text box.

·        Print Name Only – Prints just the patient's name.

7.   Click OK.
