Rejected claims are claims in which errors were found and were returned for correction. These will generally appear under Rejections in the EDS section.
Rejections can occur for a variety of reasons, including invalid surfaces for anterior and posterior teeth. If this happens, review the tooth numbers and surfaces submitted to see if they should use anterior or posterior codes, and resubmit accordingly. Below is a reference list of anterior and posterior surfaces:
