Before you can send statements electronically, you must first understand
how to generate a batch of billing statements in Dentrix Enterprise and
use filters to determine which patients will be included in the batch.

Key Information
Some practice management consultants recommend sending billing
statements to small groups of patients each week instead of sending
statements in one large batch once a month. If you want to do this,
you can select an alphabetical range of patients in the
Select Guarantor group box and only send statements
to patients in that range.
Checking the option to include patients with credit balances prints a
statement for all patients who have credit balances, even if the
patients do not match other filter criteria you have set up.
The sort transaction options apply to how the items are listed on the
statement if more than one family member has transactions listed on
the statement. If you choose to sort by patient, the procedures will
be grouped together by patient. If you choose to sort by date, all the
procedures will be sorted by date, and procedures for different
patients may be mixed together.
Only the first 240 characters of the statement note are submitted
through QuickBill, so if your note is longer than that the remainder
of the note will not appear on the statement.
In the Billing Statements dialog box, you may also choose to send your
billing statements to the Batch Processor, and then
select the Electronic Billing button to verify and
submit your statements electronically.
