
To enter a problem in Medical Alerts, do the following:
In Family File or another patient-specific module, click the Medical Alerts button  .

On the New Medical Alert button menu  , click Problem to select a problem with a SNOMED-CT code (for example, 59621000) or an ICD-9-CM code (for example, 401.9).

Set up the other options as needed, and then click OK.
