Treatment Planner is a dependent module, which means you can open it from independent modules.
Note: Accessing Treatment Planner requires the "Treatment Planner, Open" security right.
To open Treatment Planner
Do one of the following:
With a patient's appointment selected in Appointment Book, click the Treatment Planner button on the toolbar.
If the patient has treatment-planned procedures, the chair on the button is green.
If the patient does not have any treatment-planned procedures, the chair is gray.
With a patient selected in Family File, Chart, or Ledger, click the Treatment Planner button on the toolbar.
If the patient has treatment-planned procedures, the chair on the button is green.
If the patient does not have any treatment-planned procedures, the chair is gray.
With a patient selected in Document Center, click the Treatment Planner button on the toolbar.
If the patient has treatment-planned procedures, the chair on the button is green.
If the patient does not have any treatment-planned procedures, the chair is gray.
With a patient's appointment selected in Appointment Book, on the File menu, click Treatment Planner.
With a patient selected in Family File, on the File menu, click Treatment Planner.
With a patient selected in Chart or Ledger, on the Options menu, click Treatment Planner.
With a patient selected in Document Center, on the File menu, point to Switch To, and then click Treatment Planner.
If applicable, do one of the following:
If the Password - Treatment Planner, Open dialog box appears, user verification has been assigned to the "Treatment Planner, Open" task. Do one of the following:
If your user account has been granted the "Treatment Planner, Open" security right, enter your credentials in the User ID and Password boxes, and then click OK.
If your user account has not been granted the "Treatment Planner, Open" security right, have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can open Treatment Planner this one time. The overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
If a message appears, informing you that you do not have rights to this operation, your user account has not been granted the "Treatment Planner, Open" security right. To have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can open Treatment Planner this one time, do the following:
On the message, click Yes.
In the Password - Treatment Planner, Open dialog box, the overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
