Editing questionnaire responses

You can edit the responses for or resume a questionnaire that is attached to a patient's records.

Note: Editing the responses for a patient's questionnaire requires the "Patient Questionnaire Edit" security right.

To input questionnaire responses from a patient

In the Patient Questionnaire History dialog box, select a questionnaire.

Click Edit.

If applicable, do one of the following:

If the Password - Patient Questionnaire Edit dialog box appears, user verification has been assigned to the "Patient Questionnaire Edit" task. Do one of the following:

If your user account has been granted the "Patient Questionnaire Edit" security right, enter your credentials in the User ID and Password boxes, and then click OK.

If your user account has not been granted the "Patient Questionnaire Edit" security right, have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can edit the responses for a patient's questionnaire this one time. The overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.

If a message appears, informing you that you do not have rights to this operation, your user account has not been granted the "Patient Questionnaire Edit" security right. To have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you canĀ edit the responses for a patient's questionnaire this one time, do the following:

On the message, click Yes.

In the Password - Patient Questionnaire Edit dialog box, the overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.

The Patient Questionnaire dialog box appears.

Double-click the first or another question, or click Edit.

If applicable, do one of the following:

A Patient Questionnaire Response dialog box appears.

Select or enter the correct response.

Click Next.

Repeat steps 6-7 for the other questions on the questionnaire.

Notes:

To review and/or change previous answers, click Back.

To not advance to the next question, click OK or Cancel.

When you return to the Patient Questionnaire dialog box, the responses appear on the right side of the list.

Click Close.
