As needed, you can delete instant messages that you received through Messenger.
To delete a message
On the Messages tab of the Messenger window, right-click an item in the list, and then click one of the following options:
Clear message from list - To delete the corresponding messages but save the history.
Delete message history - To delete the corresponding messages and not store a history of them.
