You can decrypt a CCD or CCR file. The decryption process satisfies the Meaningful Use criteria for the decryption of encrypted electronic health information. Access to this feature is controlled by the Meaningful Use settings for clinics.
To decrypt a file
In Office Manager, on the Analysis menu, point to Meaningful Use, and then click Decrypt File.
The Select an Encrypted File to Decrypt dialog box appears.
Locate and select the desired encrypted file, and then click Open.
The File Decryption dialog box appears.
Enter the Password for the encryption. The password is masked with dots as you type unless the Show Password Text checkbox is selected.
Click OK.
A message appears.
Click OK.
