Clinical Note Review Dashboard overview

The Clinical Note Review Dashboard helps automate the process of reviewing clinical notes. The review process includes review criteria and a score sheet.

Note: Accessing the Clinical Note Review Dashboard requires the "Clinical Review Dashboard, Select Docs For Review" security right.

To access the Clinical Note Review Dashboard

In Office Manager, on the Analysis menu, click Clinical Note Review Dashboard.

If applicable, do one of the following:

If the Password - Clinical Review Dashboard, Select Docs For Review dialog box appears, user verification has been assigned to the "Clinical Review Dashboard, Select Docs For Review" task. Do one of the following:

If your user account has been granted the "Clinical Review Dashboard, Select Docs For Review" security right, enter your credentials in the User ID and Password boxes, and then click OK.

If your user account has not been granted the "Clinical Review Dashboard, Select Docs For Review" security right, have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can access the Clinical Note Review Dashboard this one time. The overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.

If a message appears, informing you that you do not have rights to this operation, your user account has not been granted the "Clinical Review Dashboard, Select Docs For Review" security right. To have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can access the Clinical Note Review Dashboard this one time, do the following:

On the message, click Yes.

In the Password - Clinical Review Dashboard, Select Docs For Review dialog box, the overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.

The Clinical Note Review Dashboard window appears.

For each review, depending on your role in the review process, perform actions on the following tabs:

Select Documents for Review - On this tab, the evaluator selects clinical notes and begins the review process.

Note: This tab is selected by default.

Unsigned Reviews - On this tab, the following tasks can be performed:

If the evaluatee has not signed the review, the evaluator resumes his or her evaluations if they are incomplete.

If the evaluatee and evaluator have not signed the review, the second-level evaluator (if one is assigned) starts or resumes his or her evaluations.

If both the evaluator and second-level evaluator (if one is assigned) have completed their evaluations, the evaluatee signs the review.

Reviewed Documents - On this tab, the following tasks can be performed:

If the evaluatee has signed the review but not the second-level evaluator (if one is assigned), the evaluator signs the review.

If the evaluatee has signed the review but not the evaluator, the second-level evaluator (if one is assigned) signs the review.

Review Summary - On this tab, the following tasks can be performed:

If both the evaluatee and evaluator have signed the review, the second-level evaluator (if one is assigned) signs the review if he or she has not already done so.

If both the evaluatee and second-level evaluator have signed the review, the evaluator signs the review if he or she has not already done so.
