Viewing ERA details

You can view the content of an ERA file that was received automatically or imported manually.

To view ERA details

Do one of the following:

In the Insurance Collection Manager window, to view the payor's details on the ERA, click an ERA's View Details icon in the Actions column.

Notes:

The View Details icon is available either if the ERA was received automatically or if the ERA was imported manually and a copy of it was saved in Document Center.

For an ERA that was imported manually, if a copy of it was saved in Document Center, the carrier's Document Center record opens instead of the viewer; if not, nothing happens.

In the Batch Insurance Payment Entry dialog box, do any of the following:

To view the payer's details on an ERA, with an ERA selected, click View Ins ERA.

To view the details of a patient's claim on an ERA, with an ERA selected and a corresponding claim selected in the Pending Claims list, click View ERA.

Notes:

The View Ins ERA and View ERA buttons are available either if the ERA was received automatically or if the ERA was imported manually and a copy of it was saved in Document Center.

For an ERA that was imported manually, if a copy of it was saved in Document Center, the carrier's or patient's Document Center record opens instead of the viewer.

The ERA Details window opens.

Notes:

If the ERA JSON file was received with errors or unmatched claims, an error message appears in the ERA Details window.

If the ERA JSON file was received with corrupted claims or missing data, the error description and details appear the ERA Details window.
