You can manually import ERA files that were downloaded previously.
Important: Do not import an ERA until you have received the applicable check from the payor or verified that the applicable funds have been transferred through an EFT.
To import ERA files manually
In the Insurance Collection Manager window, click Import ERA File.
The Open dialog box appears.
Locate and select the correct .835 or .txt files, and then click Open.
The Importing EOBs dialog box appears, and the ERA files you selected are processed.
Notes:
By default, Dentrix Enterprise saves a log file when you click Save Imported Records or Close. You can change this default by clearing the Save Log file on 'Save' checkbox and/or the Save Log file on 'Close' checkbox.
To view the log file, click View Import Log. To save the path of the log file, click Save Log Path.
Click Save Imported Records.
On the message that appears, click Close.
