To track the effectiveness of your referral sources, you must first add those referral sources to your Dentrix Enterprise database. Once you have added referral sources to the database, you can attach them to patients as they are referred to your office. From the Referred By block in Family File, you can view and enter information about the person or non-person entity that referred the patient to your practice. The inbound referral types are "Referred by Patient" and "Referred by Doctor/Other."
To track the patients who have been referred to other dental providers, professionals, and specialists, you must first add those referral destinations to your Dentrix Enterprise database. Once you have added referral destinations to the database, you can attach them to patients and treatment-planned procedures as needed. From the Referred To block in Family File, you can view and enter information about the person to whom you have referred treatment or services. The outbound referral type is "Referred to Doctor/Specialist."
