With a certain global setting enabled, in Chart, you can quickly visit Web pages that contain videos for your patients to watch regarding treatment-planned procedures. In Office Manager, you can link one or more website addresses to a given procedure.

You can also view the link for a treatment-planned procedure in Treatment Planner or the Ledger-Treatment Plan view in Ledger.
Accessing a planned procedure to click its link requires the "Treatment Plan, Edit" security right.
To view educational videos
With a patient selected in Chart, on the Progress Notes panel, double-click a treatment-planned procedure.
Note: If the procedure that you want to edit has been posted but is not listed on the Progress Notes panel, verify that the correct status view option has been selected for the progress notes.
If applicable, do one of the following:
If the Password - Treatment Plan, Edit dialog box appears, user verification has been assigned to the "Treatment Plan, Edit" task. Do one of the following:
If your user account has been granted the "Treatment Plan, Edit" security right, enter your credentials in the User ID and Password boxes, and then click OK.
If your user account has not been granted the "Treatment Plan, Edit" security right, have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can access a planned procedure this one time. The overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
If a message appears, informing you that you do not have rights to this operation, your user account has not been granted the "Treatment Plan, Edit" security right. To have a user with permission temporarily override this restriction so you can access a planned procedure this one time, do the following:
On the message, click Yes.
In the Password - Treatment Plan, Edit dialog box, the overriding user enters his or her credentials in the User ID and Password boxes and then clicks OK.
The Edit or Delete Procedure dialog box appears.
Click the procedure's description if it is a link. The description is a link only if one or more website addresses have been linked to the procedure code.
One of the following occurs:
If there is only one linked website address, your default Web browser opens to that website address. Skip the next step.
If there is more than one linked website address, the Educational Video dialog box appears. Proceed to the next step.
Double-click a website address. Your default Web browser opens to that website address. Repeat as needed to visit other website addresses. When you are finished viewing videos, to close the Educational Video dialog box, click Close.
To close the Edit or Delete Procedure dialog box, click Cancel.
