When you complete a treatment-planned procedure that is linked to conditions and/or dental diagnostic codes, those conditions and diagnoses can be invalidated automatically.
To invalidate conditions when you complete a treatment-planned procedure
Complete a treatment-planned procedure.
One of the following occurs, depending on the selected invalidation option for the procedure:
None - The conditions that the procedure is linked to are not invalidated. (Ignore the steps that follow.)
Automatic - The conditions that the procedure is linked to are invalidated automatically. (Ignore the steps that follow.)
With Verification - You choose which conditions you want to invalidate.
For the With Verification option, when the procedure is set complete, the Invalidate Conditions dialog box appears. Proceed to step 2.
Leave the Invalidate checkbox of each of the conditions that you want to have invalidated selected. Clear the Invalidate checkbox of each of the conditions that you do not want to have invalidated.
Click Invalidate.
